About Jamie

Jamie Johansson isn’t your typical candidate. He’s the only farmer running for the 3rd Assembly District seat and he knows what it means to work hard, get his hands dirty, and provide for a family.

With nothing but passion and a dream, Jamie worked in construction while he taught himself to farm olives and citrus, working tirelessly in the fields. 

In 1998, he began managing orchards in the Oroville area and began to fulfill contracts supplying olives to the Bay Area.  He developed his own olive oil brand, opened a tasting room and has been a farmer ever since.

High costs. Rising crime. Wasteful water policies. Drugs, human trafficking, and criminals flowing across the border. California is on the wrong track. Jamie believes there is a better way.
